Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an Associate Manager of Patient Access Services for the ER Registration-Hosp. This role provides operational leadership, supervising 15-20 staff, and ensures 24/7 access operations with strong performance metrics.

The position oversees scheduling, coaching, onboarding and staff development while maintaining service excellence in a fast-paced environment and may support Verrado ER occasionally.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree in Business Management or equivalent education/experience.
• 3–5 years in office management or supervision in healthcare insurance and billing.
• Excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, train and assure work quality of patient access staff.
• Lead 24/7 scheduling, coverage, coaching and performance reviews.
• Monitor metrics, attendance, service quality and coaching discussions.
• Develop onboarding, onboarding and staff development initiatives.
• Collaborate with PAS Director and Sr. Manager to meet goals.
