Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a part-time Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) for the Emergency Department. The role provides clinical leadership, staffing coordination, and direct patient care as needed during night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

The RN supervisor will collaborate with physicians and leadership to ensure quality patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting staff development and workflow optimization.

Qualifikationen

• Active and valid state RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS certificate due within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; ED experience preferred.
• TNCC certificate within 12 months of hire and CEN within 2 years of hire, preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

• Provide clinical and operational oversight for the Emergency Department
• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure quality patient care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate staffing, patient flow, workflow, and department operations
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Support orientation, training, and staff development
• Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
• Respond to emergency situations and support critical patient care needs
• Perform direct patient care as needed within RN scope of practice
