Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a full-time, night shift. The RN will deliver direct patient care, coordinate with physicians, and uphold EMTALA regulations in telemetry, with a focus on safety and quality.

This role offers a competitive pay range of $37.00–$51.28 per hour and a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 for experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within Telemetry in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and EMTALA compliance.

Education

Current state RN License

Current BLS certificate

Current ACLS certificate

Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation

Minimum 1 year ER/acute care experience

Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred

BSN preferred
