Methodist Healthcare System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. This full-time role on a mixed shift focuses on high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a fast-paced ED, working with physicians and the care team to support outcomes and the patient experience.

You will assess, monitor, document, and educate patients and families, while adhering to nursing standards and hospital policies to ensure continuous care and safety.

Formación

• RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in the emergency department.
• Must hold an RN license with relevant state practice authority.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required, with TNCC, ENPC or PALS as applicable.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 6 months.
• Associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing or RN diploma required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and manage patient pain and reassess after interventions.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and document care in the medical record.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up.
• Advocate for patients and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
