Job summary

Rumford Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will provide direct patient care, guide patient/family teaching, and supervise other nurses while maintaining professional standards in telemetry.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and basic arrhythmia interpretation, with ER experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications on hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year ER staff nurse experience; ER setting preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel in Telemetry ED.

Education

Registered Nurse License

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation training

1 year ER experience
