Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Maine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. This full-time role features 12-hour shifts, Telemetry patient care, and collaboration with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver safe nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; maintain patient privacy; adhere to EMTALA and facility policies. Required licenses and certifications at hire are listed; a supportive work environment and growth

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• CEN preferred; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
