Central Maine Medical Center Inc is hiring experienced Emergency Department RNs for full-time night shifts. The role involves delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED, with autonomy, critical thinking, and teamwork essential to manage high-acuity cases and diverse patient populations.

Qualified candidates must have an RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC as required, and at least 1 year in acute care ER.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in Telemetry and Emergency Department.
• Guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
