Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager to lead shift operations, manage patient flow, and oversee nursing teams in a high-acuity setting. You will collaborate with Nursing Operations leadership to ensure quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualified candidates will have BSN preferred, active RN license in Alabama or NLC, BLS, and at least 1 year RN experience (ER experience preferred).

Qualifications

• Education/Training: BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse; ER Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplar of the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health.
• Manages staffing assignments for oncoming and off going shifts, based on patient acuity and skill set of team members to ensure patient care needs are met.
• Coordinates patient flow with Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners to achieve outcomes.
• Interfaces with patients and families to enhance customer experience by conducting nurse leader rounds and addressing concerns.
• Leads safety huddles and supports change and problem solving.
• Assists with retention strategies for new team members and maintains regulatory readiness.
