HCA Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Room Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER environment in Tennessee. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide compassionate, evidence-based care using established nursing models.

The role emphasizes pain management, accurate documentation, timely communication with patients and families, and thorough education on conditions, treatments and self-management.

Competenze

• 1+ years ER experience required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months.

Mansioni

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Document care in the patient chart promptly and accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Teach self-management, healthy lifestyle changes and disease prevention to patients and families.
