Job summary

TriStar Century Farms ER in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess, treat, and educate patients, families, and caregivers in line with established nursing models.

The role emphasizes advocacy, timely documentation, prompt responsiveness to patient needs, and clear communication about conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS required within 6 months of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training required within 6 months.
• PALS required within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Document care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients/families/caregivers about conditions, treatments, meds, and follow-up.
• Discuss non-medicinal follow-up measures and long-term self-management.
