Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement evidence-based care while advocating for patients and families.

RN license with 6 months of ER experience is required, with additional certifications including ACLS, BCLS, NVIC, and TNCC pursued within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• RN coordinates and delivers high-quality patient-centered care.
• Meets state and department standards of practice.
• Uses established nursing model to assess, perform, teach, and manage.
• Advocates for patients/families and supports organizational values.
• Interacts with medical providers and care team to ensure outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures and document care in patient records.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and side effects.
• Teach on non-medical follow-up measures and self-management.

Skills

ACLS within 90 days

BCLS within 30 days

NVCI within 6 months

TNCC within 1 year

RN license

RN experience 6 months

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing / BSN / RN Diploma
