Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• < 1 year applicable experience.
• Licensed as RN in state(s) of practice or active compact license.
• BLS obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Teaches about non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs to resolve them proactively.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred

< 1 year applicable experience

Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
