Parkridge West Hospital is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will coordinate with clinicians, assist with procedures, document care, and advocate for patients and families while upholding evidence-based standards.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, timely interventions, patient teaching, and ensuring smooth transitions to follow-up care.

Qualifications

• ER experience required.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within specified timelines.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days.
• PALS within 6 months of start date.
• RN license in good standing (RN).
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures, monitor patients, and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and provide proactive care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Teach on health maintenance, diet, exercise, and disease prevention.
