Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, part of the HCA Healthcare system, is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care across departments. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, document care thoroughly, and educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.

The role emphasizes advocacy for patients and supporting outcomes that align with our mission to provide exceptional care.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Associate Degree in nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to plan and execute care.
• Document care in the patient record in a timely and accurate manner.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
• Advocate for patients and support an enhanced patient experience and outcomes.
