HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The RN will coordinate patient care, assess and treat acute conditions, and collaborate with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or eligible for Florida compact licensure.
• Active Florida RN license; compact licensure acceptable.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• PALS and/or ENPC within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• NVCI certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• National Board Certification (CEN or CPEN) highly preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ED.
• Assess patient pain regularly and manage accordingly.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications and follow-up.
• Collaborate with providers and care team to optimize outcomes.
