HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the New Tampa Emergency to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (compact acceptable), a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and current BLS/ACLS; PALS/ENPC, NVCI, NIHSS within required timeframes. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

Florida Registered Nurse license required or active compact license with Florida licensure within 60 days of hire.
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtained within stated timeframes (90 days).
PALS/ENPC certifications required within 90 days; NVCI within 30 days; NIHSS within 6 months; TNCC preferred; NB certification (CEN/CPEN) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
Assesses patient pain and manages it; documents care in the medical record.
Teaches patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up.
Responds to patient requests promptly and supports self-management education.
