Job summary

St. Joseph Health – Bryan/College Station in TX is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

You will perform assessments, assist with procedures, and develop patient care plans as part of an interdisciplinary team. As a successful candidate, you will have at least 1 year of RN experience, an active Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Associate Of Nursing required at hire.
• At least 1 year RN experience required at hire.
• TX RN license required at hire.
• BLS/CPR within 14 days; ACLS, PALS within 6 months; TNCC within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assessment of patient condition and ongoing reassessment.
• Plan of care development and documentation; coordination for discharge needs.
• Prepare patients for treatments and procedures; report changes to team.
• Provide bedside shift reports and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain safe environment and adherence to safety protocols.
• Document charges and supplies used for patient care.
