St. Joseph Health – Bryan/College Station, TX is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support patient recovery.

You will perform critical assessments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and implement individualized care plans in a fast-paced ED setting. This role emphasizes patient advocacy, safety, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate Of Nursing, upon hire.
• At least one year of RN experience, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 - months and
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months

Responsabilités

• Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment of the patient’s condition, providing care and reassessment as needed.
• Planning: design, direct, evaluate the care plan and discharge needs with the care team.
• Implementation: prepare patients for treatments, report changes, ensure safety protocols.
• Report Skills: provide and receive bed-side reports for shift continuity.
• Environment & Patient Safety: maintain a safe space, reduce hazards, and ensure safety.
• Supplies: document charges and supplies used to provide care.
