Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with active state licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2+ years of full-time ER or equivalent nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred
• English language proficiency (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age- and developmentally appropriate nursing care in the ER
• Complete accurate, concise medical records documentation
• Monitor and record patient signs, symptoms and vital status
• Follow physician orders and deliver nursing interventions
• Collect lab samples and perform lab testing per policies (COLA/CLIA)
• Maintain infection control and aseptic technique
• Manage admissions, discharges and transfers
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures and assist team as needed
