Job summary

Emerus in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in a busy ER. You will provide age-appropriate nursing care, document on medical records, observe and record patient status, follow physician orders and ensure privacy.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree, RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and English fluency; BSN preferred. Pennsylvania clearance rules may apply for PA candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure with no sanctions.
• 2+ years ER RN or equivalent experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.
• PA candidates: Act 33 and Act 73 clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care in a busy ER.
• Document accurately in medical records.
• Monitor and record patient status and vital signs.
• Follow physician orders and plan care accordingly.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Assist in admissions, discharges, and transfers.
