Job summary

Emerus seeks a registered nurse for the Emergency Room to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care. You will deliver age-specific nursing care, document thoroughly, and collaborate with physicians and teams in a fast-paced environment.

Required: Associate’s degree (BSN preferred), active RN license, 2+ years ER or equivalent, BLS/ACLS/PALS, English fluency. On-site position in Las Vegas serving diverse patient communities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, required; BSN, preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, not sanctioned.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific nursing care with advanced clinical skills.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Propose revisions to interventions and expected outcomes.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policy.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Manage admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Assemble equipment for procedures and assist others as needed.
