Job summary

East Valley ER in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled Emergency Department RN with a minimum of 2 years ER experience and inpatient exposure. You will perform thorough assessments, triage, administer medications, and coordinate care across teams.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold current state licensure, and be fluent in English. ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Two years of emergency room experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Current BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with head-to-toe assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Triage patients to determine urgency and prioritize care.
• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages.
• Administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
• Supervise ER Technicians and other healthcare personnel.
• Communicate treatment plans to patients and families for education and support.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to implement care plans.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in the ED.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.
