Job summary

Emerus in the Emergency Room seeks an experienced RN to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will provide age-appropriate nursing care and ensure patient safety and comfort in the ER.

Qualifications include an associate degree or BSN preferred, active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS; TNCC preferred. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or similar full-time RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Maintain accurate, concise medical record documentation.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms and status.
• Apply interventions and communicate expected outcomes.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Collect labs and perform testing per policy and CLIA/ COLA.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic practices.
• Handle admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures as needed.
