Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: None. Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Must hold NJ RN license and BLS certification; TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required or obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Assures patient safety by executing appropriate policies & procedures.
• Formulates and documents a discharge plan that maximizes the patient's ability to continue with meaningful life activities.
• Participates in unit based and hospital wide performance improvement activities and Joint Commission readiness.
• Performs related duties as required or assigned.
