Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Per Diem Emergency Department shift from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. You will assess and treat patients with a range of medical conditions, coordinate care, and ensure patient safety and timely flow in a busy ED.

Responsibilities include establishing individualized care plans, communicating with the care team, and supporting rapid response to emergencies while maintaining compassion and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Registered Nurse License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• BSN degree required or in pursuit.
• Minimum 15 months of recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Recent/current ED experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with a range of medical conditions in the ED.
• Establish individualized plans of care and coordinate with the care team.
• Communicate care plans across shifts to ensure continuity and safety.

Education

Active NJ Registered Nurse License (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (Required)

BSN degree or in pursuit
