Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro, NJ is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department for a 9:00 am – 9:00 pm shift, 24 hours per week, weekends. As an ED nurse you will assess and treat patients with medical emergencies, coordinate care plans, and collaborate with physicians, technicians and support staff.

Active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required; BSN preferred or in progress; minimum 15 months nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred or in progress.
• Minimum 15 months of recent nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients with medical emergencies and life-threatening conditions.
• Develop and communicate an individualized plan of care for each patient.
• Coordinate with ED team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses per policy.
