Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree is required; BSN is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• 2+ years of full-time RN experience in ER or related area.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately, concisely, and legibly.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Assist with procedures and equipment preparation.
• Participate in ongoing care planning and evaluation.
