Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in state (or eligible) and in good standing.
• Minimum 2+ years RN experience in ER or similar setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency required; written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care.
• Complete accurate and legible documentation.
• Observe and document signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and intervene as needed.
• Collect laboratory samples and conduct tests per policy.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Manage admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assist in preparing equipment for procedures.
