Job summary

Emerus is hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for night shifts in McCandless, Pittsburgh. Part-time role with 2/12 hr shifts per week, offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus and shift differentials.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, PA RN licensure, and 2+ years ER experience with current BLS/ACLS/PALS, plus English fluency. BSN preferred; Act 33/73 clearances must be completed within five years.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required or equivalent RN licensure in PA
• Current state RN license without sanctions required
• 2+ years ER or similar experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred
• English fluency for written and spoken communication
• PA Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed or obtainable before start

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the ER
• Provide age-specific nursing care with documentation
• Monitor and record patient signs, symptoms, and labs
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient privacy
• Perform and supervise nursing procedures and equipment setup
• Adhere to infection control and hospital procedures
• Lead admission, discharge, and transfer processes
• Participate in quality assessment activities and staff meetings
