Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking a Full-time Night Shift Emergency Department RN to join our ED team in Stamford, CT. The role features 12-hour night shifts (7pm–8am) with rotating weekends and holidays, delivering care using the Nursing Process and state/federal guidelines.

You will supervise non-RN staff, precept students, and uphold our Planetree patient-centered care culture. A CT RN license, BLS, and ED experience are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year ED RN experience.
• Valid CT RN license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care in the ED using the Nursing Process and established standards.
• Supervise non-RN personnel and assist ancillary staff on assigned unit.
• Serve as a preceptor to new staff and students as requested.
• Adhere to Stamford Health policies, Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program.
• Provide safe, therapeutic care aligned with the hospital's patient-centered culture.
