Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time, night shift role offers a 36-hour work week (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) with rotating weekends/holidays.

The RN will deliver emergent and critical care, participate in learning sessions in a sim lab, and pursue trauma nurse certification in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Connecticut RN license and ADN are required; BLS/CPR, ACLS, and TNCC are preferred or available post-hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to emergent and critical patients in the Emergency Department.
• Engage in didactic learning sessions and utilize a state-of-the-art simulation lab.
• Pursue certification as a trauma nurse with opportunities for growth in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
