Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking an ICU Night shift RN to join our compassionate, patient-centered team in Stamford, CT. This full-time role features 12-hour nights (7pm–8am) with rotating weekends/holidays and staff supervision as needed.

As a BSN-preferred, CT-licensed RN with BLS, you will deliver high-quality care using the Nursing Process, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and precept new staff. We support growth and well-being in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.

Responsibilities

• The ICU Staff RN will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines.
• Provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff on assigned unit.
• Supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role.
• Act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested.
• Adhere to all Stamford Hospital’s policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.
• Provide safe and therapeutic care using the values inherent in our hospital culture.
