Job summary

Baptist Health's Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the third shift. The RN will oversee nursing staff on shift, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care.

You will perform the nursing process, assess patients, plan and perform interventions, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians. BSN preferred; active RN licensure, BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Knowledge of nursing process, assessment, planning, and intervention; effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of interventions.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties within the scope of the role.
