Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Per Diem Night Shift Patient Care Partner for our Emergency Department in Pottsville. The role supports the licensed clinical team with direct and indirect patient care, responds to patient needs, and helps maintain a safe, welcoming care environment on night shift.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong communication skills to engage patients and families.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and interprofessional teams.
• Understanding of safety and cleanliness in a healthcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Assist licensed clinical team with direct and indirect patient care.
• Respond to patient calls and support care partners to ensure timely needs are met.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment and participate in rounds as needed.
• Support telehealth and virtual care encounters when assigned.
