Premiere Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Emergency Department team in Lewiston, Maine. The 12-week assignment offers days and nights with weekly pay and a robust hospital partner network.

Key duties include bedside ED care, monitoring vitals, IV therapy, blood draws, and collaboration with RNs and physicians. Requires LPN/LVN license, IV/BW, BLS, and 1 year ED experience.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license or equivalent required.
• IV certification and BW certification required.
• Current BLS certification at hire and maintained.
• 1 year ED experience required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver bedside care in a high-volume emergency setting.
• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and acuity changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ED protocols.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in condition quickly and accurately.

Formation

High School Diploma or equivalent

LPN/LVN license

IV certification

Blood Withdrawal certification
