Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Emergency Department in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts available: Days and Nights. This 12-week assignment offers weekly pay and strong support from dedicated career specialists.
You will deliver bedside care in a high-volume ED, monitor vitals, assist with meds and IVs, support trauma and triage, and document in EMR/EHR. Requires LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certs, BLS, and 1 year ED experience.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
- One (1) year ED experience required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver bedside care in a high-volume emergency setting.
- Monitor vital signs and patient acuity changes.
- Assist with medications, IV therapy, and blood draws.
- Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ED protocols.
- Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
- Communicate changes in condition quickly and accurately.
