Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an Emergency Department assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts available days and nights, 12-week length, with weekly pay and strong hospital partnerships.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications, and a minimum of 1 year ED experience, plus current BLS. Compensation ranges from $40.00–$50.00 per hour, equivalent to $1,680–$2,100 gross weekly.

Qualifications

• IV certification and blood withdrawal certification required
• Current BLS certification on hire and maintained

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside care in a high-volume ED setting
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition changes
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws
• Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams
• Ensure patient safety and infection control in ED
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems
• Communicate condition changes quickly and accurately
