Job summary

CHI St. Joseph's Health in Park Rapids, MN is seeking an ICU/ER Registered Nurse to provide life-saving critical care across the ICU and Emergency Department, bridging stabilization and long-term management in high-acuity settings.

You will manage ventilator care, arterial and central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and dignity for every patient in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing education program.
• Registered Nurse licensed by the State of Minnesota.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• TNCC must be obtained within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Critical Care Management in ICU: ventilator management, complex medication titration, continuous monitoring.
• Emergency Stabilization in ER: rapid triage, stabilization, and assist with procedures.
• Clinical Excellence: adjust care plans with proactive assessment and team collaboration.
• Culturally Competent Care: respect diverse community values and needs.
• Documentation & Advocacy: accurate care plans, progress notes, and quality improvement involvement.
