CHI St. Joseph’s Health in Park Rapids, MN seeks an ER ICU Nurse to be the first contact for community health emergencies. You will triage, stabilize, and collaborate with an experienced clinical team to provide high-quality care, including IV starts and catheter insertions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and critical thinking, with opportunities to participate in patient experience initiatives and other projects while maintaining patient dignity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited professional nursing education program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota (MN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of start date.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months of start date.

Responsabilités

• Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients.
• Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients as part of the ER team, adapting care to changes in condition.
• Document nursing care plans and changes in patient's condition.
• Engage in activities benefiting patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives, mentoring, etc.
