Job summary

Advocate Health in Monroe, NC seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool, providing patient care across Atrium Health Union, Union West, and Anson facilities. You will float as needed, participate in quality initiatives, and adhere to evidence-based nursing practices.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS, and typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with a focus on patient safety, communication, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in the state(s) of practice.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patient/family engagement.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Promote a culture of safety and ethical patient care as per ANA guidelines.
• Document accurately in the EHR and maintain timely records.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
