Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking an ER Discharge Coordinator to support bedside scheduling within our centralized ER and Urgent Care Follow-up programs. This role focuses on improving scheduling immediacy and patient experience at the point of care.

Primary duties include speaking with patients and stakeholders professionally, scheduling follow-ups bedside when appropriate, and upholding performance and quality standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Speaks with customers, patients and stakeholders in a pleasant and professional manner; Communicates appropriately and clearly with department leadership, co-workers and customers/patients.
• Will schedule patients for follow-up care bedside when appropriate.
