Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola seeks an experienced RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Emergency Department to lead patient care during the assigned shift, collaborate with the management team, and model the organization’s mission and values.

You will drive admission/discharge workflows, mentor staff, support staffing, inventory, and implement nursing strategies to improve outcomes and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN license and meet state requirements.
• Experience in emergency department nursing and unit coordination preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and team skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care during the assigned shift in the Emergency Department.
• Assist with admissions and discharges to maintain throughput and quality care.
• Collaborate with managers to create teamwork and improve patient outcomes.
• Support staff training, scheduling, and adherence to policies and performance evaluations.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment management.
