Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Pool Clinical Nurse for the Emergency Department to deliver care under supervision and in alignment with hospital guidelines. The role requires planning and delivering nursing care, documenting assessments, and coordinating with the health care team to support timely patient management.

You will engage in discharge planning, communicate plans, educate patients, and monitor outcomes while adapting to varied patient populations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse license issued by Florida or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Experience in hospital or emergency department settings is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess and analyze the health status of patients on the assigned unit.
• Perform ongoing assessments and document findings.
• Initiate discharge planning with initial admission assessment.
• Plan patient care with input from the patient, family, and health care team.
• Document care, communicate plan to team, and transcribe physician orders.
• Educate patients based on assessed needs.
• Evaluate outcomes and involve patient and family in evaluation.
• Provide care tailored to patient populations served.
