Qualifications

• Florida RN license or Compact State license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and analyzes the health status of patients on the assigned nursing unit.
• Performs ongoing assessments and documents findings per policy.
• Initiates discharge planning with initial admission assessment.
• Plans patient care on the unit in collaboration with patient, family, and health care team.
• Directs care team members and ensures documentation and communication of the plan of care.
