Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate total nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Clinical Manager. You will participate in patient and family teaching, provide age-appropriate care, and collaborate with physicians to ensure exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BCLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC certification within one year of hire.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of growth and development across the life span.
• Ability to interpret information for age-specific patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care using the nursing process to meet each patient's needs.
• Establish and utilize teaching opportunities for patients and families.
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients on the unit.
• Collaborate with physicians on condition, orders, and care plan.
• Demonstrate leadership with LPNs, aides, and secretaries.
• Comply with organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain department competencies for patient care.
