Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire; TNCC within 1 year of hire.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care on the assigned unit.
• Ability to interpret data for age-specific patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Establishes and maintains communication; teaches patients and families.
• Delivers age-appropriate nursing care on the unit.
• Collaborates with physicians on care plans to ensure quality care.
• Demonstrates leadership with LPNs, aides, and secretaries for teamwork.
• Complies with policies and hospital compliance.
• Maintains department competencies for patient care.
• Demonstrates service excellence aligned with the organization's mission.
