Blanchard-Valley-Health-System is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate total nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, Clinical Manager, or designee. The role includes patient and family teaching and leading the nursing team to maintain standards of professional practice within the clinical setting.

The RN will participate in planning and delivering care, collaborate with physicians, and ensure high-quality patient care while promoting teamwork and service excellence

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BCLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
• ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
• Assume on-call duties as scheduled.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and assess data reflecting patient status.
• Ability to interpret information to identify patient needs per area policies.

Responsabilités

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Establishes and maintains communication and provides patient/family teaching.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care for patients on their unit.
• Collaborates with physicians regarding patient condition and treatment plan.
• Demonstrates leadership in coordinating LPNs, aides, and secretaries to ensure quality care.
• Complies with organizational policies and hospital compliance.
• Maintains department competencies and promotes service excellence.
