Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Positive, service-oriented attitude.
• May require working at multiple BVMP practices.
• Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
• Experience with throat cultures, hemocues, hemoccults, glucometer, urinalysis, urine pregnancy testing.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient needs and communicate accordingly.
• Understand growth and development across lifespan for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops interactions for health-related services.
• Identify unique physical and emotional needs of patients.
• Manage clinical patient data.
• Assist provider with patient care as required.
• Follow directions from the provider.
• Assist with chart documentation.
• Educate patients on diagnoses and test results.
• Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory agencies and compliance.
• Collaborate with Providers on patient condition, orders, and treatment plan.
• Follow department lines of authority and communication.
• Maintain ongoing educational experiences relevant to skill level.
