Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of California.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Assaultive Behavior Training Certification per AB508/SB1299 within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification "A" required within 3 months of hire/transfer.
• Annual 8 hours of Stroke Education required for those at QVH.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients with acute or episodic emergencies.
• Provide education, referrals and care coordination as needed.
• Deliver patient‑centered emergency nursing care in varied clinical settings.
