Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking a part-time CNA to support patient care overnight. The role requires assisting with triage, transfers, vital signs, and patient comfort under RN supervision.

Night shifts, every other weekend; 24 hours per week; pay range $21.85 to $32.80 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and avenues for growth within Advocate Health.

Strong teamwork, CPR certification, and CNA/EMT/ERT/MA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified as CNA, EMT, paramedic, or ERT with 2-3 yrs hospital or pre-hospital experience or related training.
• Strong CPR certification and current licensure where applicable.
• Customer-focused care with ability to work under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support in ED under RN supervision.
• Assist with triage, admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Take vital signs, weight, I/O and report abnormal findings.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and assist with postmortem or transport duties as needed.
• Contribute to CQI data collection and participate in quality initiatives.
